Textured Wall Coatings

Textured wall coatings are weatherproof exterior wall coatings applied to the external walls of houses and buildings. These coatings are used to protect, aestetically improve and provide maintenance free walls for decades (Guaranteed!). Textured wall coatings are only suitable on certain substrates, for more information, see out masonry coatings page.

Smooth Wall Coatings

Similar in substance and purpose to textured wall coatings above, but simply applied with a smooth finish. The same 15yr guarantee is provided as standard on any wall coating we apply. See our masonry coatings page for more details.

Wall Rendering

Wall rendering in layman's terms is similar to plastering of external walls. After suitable preperation, render can be applied to almost any external masonry, but care must be taken to apply the correct type of render, determined by the substrate it is to be applied. Wall Cladding

Wall cladding is the process of applying brick or stone slips, between 12mm to 15mm thick, to a masonry or wall surface. This process gives the impression, that the wall is constructed wholey with the brick or stone cladding material. This can be done for aesthetic reasons or structural reasons.

External Wall Insulation (EWI)

External wall insulation is the process of applying low thermal conducting insulating material to the exterior of a property. This is usually applied then finished as a minimum with a render to give a seamless finish. For more information, see our external wall insulation page.

Wall Cleaning

Exterior walls can be cleaned using various methods, each method offering different levels of aggresion. A full wall survey must be undertaken to determine the most appropriate cleaning method. For more information, see our wall cleaning page.
